Rates & Fees
In 2011 the Cities through the Airport Steering Committee directed staff to conduct a periodic rates and fees study. This study helps the Airport ensure the rates and fees are set at fair market value, which is a requirement set by the FAA for all airports receiving federal funds. Based on the consumer price index (CPI), staff adjusts published land lease rates annually, hangar rentals every two years, and the Rates and Fees study is completed every five years.
Airports included in this survey were those most similar to FNL and include: Boulder, Centennial, Cheyenne WY, Durango, Eagle, Grand Junction, Greeley, Gunnison, Laramie, Longmont, Rocky Mountain Metro, St. George UT, Steamboat-Hayden, and Yampa Valley-Hayden.
