Master Plan Update
The Master Plan Update is a re-evaluation of existing and future aviation demands, along with an accompanying analysis of future facility needs. The emphasis of Master Plans is on the physical development of airport property to meet aviation demands; in addition, other factors are considered such as environmental and issues related to the Airport’s environs (surrounding land uses, natural features, and man-made infrastructure). This version of the Master Plan will also include focus on the Airport's Influence Area; which will provide guidance for the compatible development of land surrounding the Airport to yield a community-supported, data-driven, achievable strategy for land use and infrastructure in the Airport Influence Area.
This plan will consider both existing and projected conditions, and will include input from the public, Airport Commission, Planning and Development Sub Committee, Airport Management, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The first Master Plan Update Public Meeting occurred May 29, 2019. The next meeting will occur in the fall of 2019. The informational items from the first public meeting are available to download and view below:
